Seriously no F***s were given by M. Robinson when she was writing Choosing Us. She went right for the kill in the mother f-ing Prologue. This just solidifies my theory that Robinson takes a real sadistic pleasure in tormenting her readers. And this book has all the parts of a M. Robinson book that makes it so good that you cannot bring yourself to put it down:1. complete a-hole male character you can't help but love2. female character that you just connect to3. never ending emotional roller coaster ride4. a love story that is so gripping that it stays with you after you close the bookLet me start off with saying that Choosing Us is the first book in a duet so if you cannot stand a good mother f-ing cliffy or having to wait for the next book to be released, then by all means wait and read Aiden's story when you can get your hands on both books. Now to the book itself. There is so many different layers to the story that i do recommend telling everyone to leave you the f*** alone so you can concentrate, and make sure that you go in with an open mind. And I say this because you may think you know how this story is going to play out, but you will be sitting back questioning everything you thought. I know that was me for the entire time I was reading. Then when I got to the end I found myself having more questions for myself if what I think is still to come and what really just happened is right, or is Robinson playing evil as s*** mind tricks.Choosing Us took Robinson back to the contemporary side of romance, so if you read and loved her Good Ol' Boys series, then this will be your next favorite read

I would love this book, but I don't like all the mystery surrounding the missing wife. I love books about married people and their journeys, but I need to hear from Bailey. If not for the unique way this story is being told , I would have probably given it 2 stars. I don't like Camila, I know I am in the minority, but she doesn't know ANYTHING about this couple and she seems a little judgmental, as if her three month stint as nannycan somehow equal to and surpass a love time of love, pain ,highs, lows and all that life can throw a couple way. As I said, I am in the minority with this book, but I just don't like the feel of this book. I just don't like the nanny thinking she has rights because she has been fantasizing about Aiden and Aiden being attracted to the nanny over video monitors.... If you want to read a book with a lot of questions and uncertainty, this is your read. I am trying to figure out if Camila will bring this couple together or help Aiden get over Bailey...

It was an okay book and definitely angsty but I didnt care for the way it was written or really the plot. This book wasn’t what I imagined it would be at all. Basically in this book:First few pages wife and husband fight. You don’t know why and there is nothing written about who leaves or where he/she goes... nothing. That sucked. Next, young nanny is hired to care for the 3 kids and the book is told from her POV and lots of flashbacks of how the wife and husband fell in love from THEIR points of view. There is barely any current writing from husband or wife. This is just not a happy book, although I know it is a duet and it may end happy. The author makes it seem like the nanny and husband are gonna be a thing and I don’t like that personally. In the book, the wife never sees her kids and I don’t like that either. I will read the next only because I want to see where it goes and I really hope the husband and wife get back together. Overall an okay book but not if your into sad duets that completely leave you hanging.

The queen of angst strikes again. This time she went back to her contemporary romance roots. And she knocked it out of the park. You met him in Lost Boy and El Pecador. But get ready for his very emotional story. She had me crying in the freaking prologue people. Aidens story starts off rough and we learn all about his sad and rough childhood. The vibes and feelings and emotions I felt every single thing right along with him. I wanted to get into the book and just hold him! She evoked all my emotions with this book and left them hanging on the cliff with that cliffhanger! So if you liked being pulled into a book that you cant put down then this is your book! Cant wait for Choosing You!

Monica has done it again, definitely a 2019 top read. I seriously cannot say enough about this book other than you will cry, smile, then cry again. Once you start you will not stop. I was afraid to turn the page for fear of what was happening next. I'm going to assume the next book will have me on the edge of my seat. I have read all of Monica's books and have to say this is my Favorite. I cannot wait to see what unfolds in book 2. I will not even guess what happens next because M loves to throw us that curve ball. Grab yourself a copy I promise you will not be disappointed.

Monica just made me fall in love with contemporary romance all over again. Aiden is my new book boyfriend! These characters took me on an emotional path that had me wanting to scream at them and root for them all at the same time. The anger, passion, despair, love and hope leap through the pages and keep you wanting more. I could feel the pain and heartache piercing my heart and teasing my soul . You need to read this book for Camila, Dante, and Journey alone. How a little girl can make me grin so hard like she’s real, I don’t know but I wanted to take her home and raise her as my own. I need answers to all my questions and can’t wait for the next book. M. Robinson, Choosing Us, is enchanting and raw and the love drips off the pages in this timeless tale.
